I was in college when Operation Desert Storm began. I had lots of friends from high school that were deployed overseas, and I felt that I needed to do my part to serve my country while I was still young and healthy. I decided to leave school after the semester was finished and join the military. I first moved to Ft. Hood, TX in 1991 as a soldier in the United States Army-1st Calvary Division 4/5 ADA. My time in the military was a truly amazing experience, and one that has shaped me into the man I am today. After 3 years enlisted, 2 tours to Iraq, and countless months in the field, I was honorably discharged, highly decorated, and headed back to college.

I begin my real estate career in South Padre Island, TX. In 2005 I was recognized by Escape Homes as one of the top 30 Elite Agents in the U.S. for breaking new ground in internet vacation, retirement and investment property sales. Shortly after, I was the featured South Padre Island Agent in the New York Times article 'Water, Water, Anywhere.'

While I enjoyed much success in South Padre Island, I decided to make my move to the DFW area. While I was used to selling real estate the traditional way, I knew that the way real estate was being bought and sold was changing, and I wanted to keep up with the times.
